Welcome to In Class With Mariam! I’m Mariam, an experienced Secondary English, EAL, Humanities, and Literacy teacher, as well as an Assessor, Tutor and Resource Creator. Our vision is to create a comprehensive resource hub for Secondary English and Humanities students and teachers. Have confidence that our resources, advice and tips are all teacher and classroom approved.

At In Class With Mariam, we aim to simplify the teaching and learning process by providing high-quality resources, insightful blog posts, and expert knowledge. We understand the challenges of studying and teaching English and Humanities, and our mission is to make these subjects more accessible and enjoyable for everyone involved. Have satisfaction of mind that all resources are teacher made and approved- knowing they’ve been tried and tested within classrooms before you.
Who We Are
Mariam
With years of experience in education, I am passionate about helping students and teachers succeed. My background includes:
- Secondary Teacher: Specialising in English, EAL, Humanities, and Literacy, with experience in the public and independent sectors. I have 7 years of experience in the fielding ranging from year 7-12.
- Assessor: With years of experience across all types of national and state exams, providing valuable insights and assessments to support student learning.
- Resource Creator: Understanding the gap needed in classrooms, I began developing engaging and effective educational materials tailored to the needs of both students and teachers.
- Tutor: With 10 years of experience as a tutor I have streamlined success for students whilst instilling a confidence and love for learning
